Unpaid leave
- Unpaid maternity/paternity leave
- Up to a maximum of 3 years from the birth.
- Option of splitting this leave into two or more periods.
- Entitlement to pre-school or study subsidies for other children during the first year.
- Full coverage to be provided during the parent's absence, to facilitate take-up.
- During the first year of leave:
- New parents may be granted a loan of up to 40% of their fixed salary, with a 1-year payment holiday, within a global borrowing limit of 40% (interest rate: Euribor) and with a repayment term of up to 10 years.
- Entitlement to social benefits (Mapfre Caja Salud and life insurance) will be fully retained, counting from the application date, with the right to return to work in the same post.
- A one-year payment holiday on first home loans and sundry benefits and advances.
- Care leave for relatives up to the second degree
- 2 years when the relative is unable to fend for him/herself for reasons of age, accident or infirmity and is not in any kind of paid work.
- Option of splitting this leave into two or more periods.
- During the first year of leave:
- Entitlement to social benefits (Mapfre Caja Salud and life insurance) will be fully retained for the first year of leave, starting from the application date.
- A one-year payment holiday on first home loans and sundry benefits and advances.
- Voluntary leave. From a minimum of 4 months to a maximum of 5 years. Can be applied for every 4 years.
- Study leave. Up to one year's leave for undergraduate, master's or doctorate courses in subject areas envisaged for employee educational subsidies under the current Collective Agreement. Reservation of post. Available to employees with over two years' effective service in the organisation who have not made use of this right in the previous 7 years.
