Other social benefits
- A health insurance scheme for all Group professionals (100% subsidised) and their spouses and children (30% subsidised).
- Emergency payments, for staff, their spouses and/or children in exceptional cases which do not enjoy standard healthcare cover and cause demonstrable economic hardship.
- Pension Plan. Contributions to an external supplementary pension scheme on a quarterly basis, equating to 7% of fixed salary and 3% of performance-related pay.
- Christmas hamper for both active and retired staff.
- Activities for children. Educational, cultural and leisure activities during holiday periods for the children of employees, at special prices, part subsidised by the Organisation.
- Benefit packages including the following coverage:
- Widowhood: 50% of the employee's fixed salary on a lifelong basis (reviewed in line with inflation).
- Orphanhood: 25% of the employee's fixed salary for each child up to age 23
- Permanent total disability: 75% of fixed salary on a lifelong basis
- Severe disability: 75% of fixed salary on a lifelong basis.
- Caja plus Social Security benefits are capped at 125% of the fixed salary in cases of widowhood, orphanhood and permanent total disability and 150% in the case of severe disability.
