Security in branches
Given the nature of its business, Caja Madrid is especially concerned about the safety of its customers and employees, and does everything in its power to assure their protection.
All Group professionals can access a Branch Security Manual through the corporate intranet, with instructions on how to react in a series of circumstances. This is vitally important, as the collaboration of our staff is the best guarantee of the detection, prevention and/or clarification of criminal acts involving our Organisation, and the safety of both people and property.
Courses on security measures in branches are available to new, temporary and permanent staff. Employees can also watch a training briefing on the e-personas portal showing them how to prevent or act in cases of theft, assault or fraud.
Branches are equipped with the latest security technologies to beyond the legally required standard. Among them:
- Digital closed circuit television.
- Local alarm centres with IP connection.
- Safety doors complete with metal detectors.
- Delayed opening safes at teller positions to prevent casual theft.
Self-protection plans are in place for flagship buildings as well as emergency procedures at branch level.
