It has reworked its “Information Security Policy and Guidelines” in line with the latest legislation in this area: the Personal Data Protection Act. (known by its Spanish initials LOPD), Royal Decree 994/1999 regulating security measures for automated filing systems containing personal data, the Information Society Services and E-Commerce Act, etc. This policy rests on a series of procedures, access controls and IT data protection tools that are detailed exhaustively in the Caja Madrid Systems Security Plan.
