Programmes and activities in the environment area, funded with €4.9 million in 2007, have an eminently educational and informative mission, with the focus on biodiversity protection and conservation and the promotion of sustainable development, attempting to alert society in general, and young people in particular, to the degradation affecting our natural environment.
