Technology at the service of customers
The idea

Caja Madrid believes wholeheartedly in using technology for the benefit of its customers. Part of this commitment is its application of the highest standards of security and the most advanced protection measures in its business processes, to ensure the integrity and confidentiality of client information.
The same spirit can be discerned in its adaptation of ATM technology to serve persons suffering disabilities, with features including:
- An audio option for all machine transactions.
- The use of extra-large letters in menu displays to facilitate the access of visually impaired persons.
Similarly, the portals of Caja Madrid, Obra Social and Fundación Caja Madrid are in possession of the AA certificate in recognition of their advanced accessibility.
Branches, finally, have been equipped with large-format TV screens offering news, information and event listings.
Results
Caja Madrid has pledged to spend €1,000 million on technology in the next four years, lifting its total investments under this head to around €3,000 million since 1998.
