Preventive occupational health
The preventive occupational healthcare system uses different means to assess the state of health of each individual. This enables epidemiological studies to be carried out, while facilitating the design of specific actions to preserve and improve employees’ health.
Regular medical check-ups
Appointments for medical check-ups are made through the e-personas portal, so staff can schedule the most convenient time for them from their workstation or home computer.
Protocol for medical checks
A protocol has been drawn up for medical examinations to detect early signs of exposure to occupational hazards. This means checks are geared to the circumstances of the individual employee, as well as being considerably more thorough than those prescribed by government health and safety
agencies.
Prevention awareness
Through the e-personas portal, all employees have access to health matters, current issues and educational articles on the prevention of diseases such as cervical and skin cancer, etc.
Specific campaigns
- Blood donation campaign: Caja Madrid continues to collaborate with the Madrid Regional Government, hosting visits from the Salud Madrid Transfusion Centre at the medical services in our main buildings so that employees can voluntarily give blood.
- Preventive campaigns: help with giving up smoking (at the employee's request), anti-flu vaccination, anti-tetanus vaccination and health education.
