Caja Madrid understands that bank usage is a fundamental right of every individual regardless of his or her physical or social situation.

Spurred by the present economic situation, we have taken action on three fronts to step up our initiatives to enhance accessibility to financial services:

  • Designing social products for economically vulnerable groups and promoting wealth creation through support for small businesses.
  • Pursuing initiatives to boost customer understanding of the financial world that are adapted to their individual profiles and the needs that characterise their specific stage in their working lives.
  • Establishing distribution channels that can be used by people with different types of physical and visual disabilities, or living in outlying towns or rural areas.
