No project finance package may go through without first being cleared by an outside consultant regarding compliance with environmental policies and having attained the requisite licences and permits for building and operating the project.

In addition to these initial pre-financing requirements, subsequent compliance with environmental standards and regulations is reviewed throughout the life of the projects, as stipulated in the relevant financing agreements.
